Each companion in Hellbringer will help you in battle with extra damage or unique effects. A companion has the same perception as its owner and its damage is always added to yours.
When put into combat, it is no longer necessary to use action points for your companion to attack or to use its effect.
As previously stated, the enemy attack die has a result of Hit Companion priority. This result means that the players’ companions take all the damage, but if they don’t have one, player unfortunately take all the damage. This type of defense can be very useful!
