Simplicity and efficiency have always been the motto for all of Hellbringer. For example, at the beginning of its conception the use of polyhedral dice was present but was changed for personalized dice in order to optimize the speed of calculations and the simplicity of the dice to use (2 kinds of dice versus 7).
As for the draw piles, it was clear that we wanted to keep them to a minimum in order to keep the complexity of the game at a simplistic level. The result was that the creation of the Common Draw Pile became more tedious, but the fluidity and chance obtained by its design is perfect.
The perception board, which is essential in one of the game’s most alluring mechanics, receives very few upgrades.
All the elements and mechanics of Hellbringer will be described and discussed in more detail shortly.
