Action points are a key element in your hero’s growth in Hellbringer. It tells the player what actions he can perform and how many action points he has available on his turn.

Using a card automatically deducts the number of action points shown to the left of the used card from your available action points for that turn. You can thus combine several cards in order to create the combinations you want until you have spent all your action points.

But fear not, your action points will always be renewed to the maximum you own at the beginning of the turn. Allowing you to grow stronger and stronger.
